What I learned
I think what I enjoyed learning the most this week was the Mentor session in the book. So far in this class I feel like I have learned a lot but haven't really been able to apply it to actually starting a business. I think that it has helped me to think about what to do with a business but not really what type of things I need to be thinking about before I start it. This mentor session I think helped because of the specific questions that it asked as well as asking which traits you think you have and which ones you can improve on. I really liked being able to really think about myself and analyze things that can be beneficial to my future business.
What I want to learn
I am really looking forward to the coming mentor sessions and being able to take a deeper look into myself and discovering what I can do and what I need to improve upon. I also really enjoy the LDS perspective assignments because they help me to think about how these principles can be applied into my life right now as well as later on and in a business that I want to start. I look forward every week to those assignments and what they teach me.

Week 3
What I learned
I really enjoyed the video call Do What you Love. I think that it is a hard thing to find something that you love that somebody would pay you money for. I really enjoyed the three circles and how he focused on the what you were born to do circle. I think that the other two circles are easier to find something so focusing on that one is essential.
I also really like the video about making wiser choices not longer hours. I really like that idea. It seems like people work so hard and so long and don't get as much out of it as they may have thought they would. I want to be able to spend more time with my husband rather than having him work all of the time.
The Start up of You book was very enlightening as well. I think that I need to come up with different ways to incorporate what I learned from it into my life so that I can use it to improve my life.
What I want to Learn
One thing I wish I would have liked to have learned from the Do What you Love video was what steps you can take and how you can find what you are born to do. It is easy to say "focus on that circle" but how do you find what you were born to do?

Week 2
What I learned this week
This week I really enjoyed the talks by Sheri Dew and Lynn Robbins. I think too often I get caught up in the technical side of things and don't really think about how the gospel ties into them, because I ties into everything that we do. I sometimes just want to know how to do it and be done with it, so the LDS perspective is what I learn the most from that benefits me in my life. I really loved Elder Robbins grading system and it made me think about my life and even though I am a stay at home mom what I can do to improve my ethical behavior at home and be able to receive that A grade.
I also enjoyed the videos especially the one with the top ten things to do when starting a business. It was very insightful and I enjoyed thinking about what we would do if my husband and I do decide to open one. I really didn't like the Rich Grad video. I don't really think that the most important things in life require money. Most everything does and there are very important things on that list, but when I think about what is most important to me in life, I don't need money for those things. Especially prayer. It doesn't matter how rich or poor I am, Heavenly Father will always listen and answer my sincere, heartfelt prayers.
What I look forward to learning
I do look forward to learning and applying LDS principles into the idea of entrepreneurship. Even in my little direct sales job with Heritage Makers, I feel like if I were to incorporate more of the principles that I hold so dear that I will be able to excel at that as well as other things.

Week 1
Lessons learned
This week I learned a lot about dreams and how important is it to have them. I learned that without having dreams we cannot move forward with our lives. I learned that we need goals to be able to move forward otherwise we are just floating around. One of my favorite activities was the bucket list. At first, I didn't know how I was going to get 50 things on that list. It was really good to look inside of myself and see what kind of goals I had buried inside of me. I also enjoyed Randy Pausch's last lecture. I know that it is rare to be able to know when you will die and to be able to look back at your childhood dreams and see what you have been able to accomplish. That is why I think that this last lecture really stood out. I don't think many people look back on their childhood dreams and see which ones they were able to achieve.
Lessons not yet learned
I am looking forward to learning new things about how to accomplish the things on that bucket list. I am excited to figure out what kind of strategies I can use to accomplish my goals and help my kids and husband accomplish theirs as well.
